“If ever you come to Pondoland and you see an angel fly over the hills, don’t be afraid, astonished or amazed. It is only Nomthandazo and I doing home visits with our white truck, the Angel!
We are living here in Pondoland (Transkei) for six years now and we praise God for every minute that we could work with Him. To be part of His blessing to the Pondo people, to see Him work with the youth, to see His love for the children, just to see Him - fill our hearts with joy!
But in this time, we really struggled to get the right vehicle. God was teaching us to depend on Him, but it was a difficult time. Rikus (my husband) was always working on a vehicle in order to have some means of transport.

I had the kombi (see picture) to work with. If you know the roads and if you know Africa, you would know that a kombi is a no-no. The roads - if they exist - are very bad and in some places very narrow. Soooo, I was praying for God to provide us with an other vehicle, I hoped for a 4x4. I was just praying for some car that was in such a state, that my dear husband could relax. One day Rufus, Theunis and Brian came here with the Angel!
And they said it is for us!!!!!!
A 4x4!!!!!!
God is so wonderful, so great!!!
Nobody knew of my prayers, but God gave the desire of my heart.
